What are the differences between MPC™ and PSP® technologies?

PSP® (Processed Skin Proteins) technology is an optimal blend of human growth factors, cytokines and interleukins to help rejuvenate, energize and nourish the appearance of skin. In consumer studies, the topical application of products with PSP® have been found to significantly reduce the visible signs of skin aging such as fine lines and wrinkles, roughness and uneven skin tone.

In contrast, MPC™ (Micro Protein Complex) technology is a synthetic alternative to growth factors to help address aging concerns like skin elasticity, firmness, fine lines and wrinkles. MPC is the latest technology innovation by NEOCUTIS inspired by a new understanding of the role the extracellular matrix plays in skin aging. Recent research suggests that the change in five key components of the ECM – Collagens I, III, VII, Elastin and Hyaluronic Acid – are responsible for the visible signs of aging. MPC is a new generation of skin-rejuvenating micro-proteins that target the five key components of the ECM. In a consumer study, an MPC™ formulation was shown to significantly impact firmness, elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles, skin roughness and the appearance of pores.
